If I could own but one piece of original comics art, this is it, this has always been it. As succinct as his visual style, Alex Toth’s ideology here is the epitome of inspirational. From the pages of Anything Goes #1 published by Gary Groth in the 1980s, this was colored by Mark Wheatley the also-great. I have become increasingly bothered by the fact of never before seeing an online scan. This art, this statement, should not be lost to the sands of time. Or ignorance.
